Talking brutal circumstances......

Lots of recent history on the Alaska Highway. Built after the attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbour during WW II, in a very short time and under brutal circumstances.

Crossing the Alberta - British Columbia Border. Time change! Later on it proofed that we needed that extra hour. 5 Kilometer stretch took us 3+ hours to cross. The rest of the 250 km swamp crossing on ice was fantastic. The digging also...............
