Our Infant Program at WeCare Childcare We provide a safe and nurturing environment with a maximum group size of 9 children. Our ratio is 1 teacher for every 3 children. Our program is designed to stimulate social skills, mobility, curiosity, discovery and learning. We recognize that early care and development are critical to your child's success throughout the educational journey. Our RECE-certified teachers ensure your infant's physical, emotional and cognitive development ...through a variety of fun, hands-on and interactive activities. Although infants learn through play, we follow the framework directed by the Ministry of Education "How Does Learning Happen". Our center uses Sandbox to record your child's daily routines such as meals, nap time, activities as well as developmental observations and skills. Daily records with real-time photo and video updates are available to parents. Our healthy, organic meals are prepared daily by an on-site chef. For your convenience, our center offers flexible hours with evening, weekend and holiday availability. Our motto is: We care! We care where your children sleep, what they eat and where they play; we care about their physical and mental development and well-being! Tours are available on weekdays and weekends by appointment. www.wecarechildcare.ca [email protected] (905) 832-3000 We are located on 815 Teston Road, Maple, ON.

Musical activities offer cognitive, physical and emotional benefits in your child's development. Interaction with musical instruments helps develop thinking skills, while singing helps develop speech as well as serves as an effective way to remember new information. We would like to introduce the parents to Adam Staviss - the music specialist at WeCare Childcare! Adam is fluent in 8 instruments and has worked with some of the best artists, writers, producers and record executives in the world including: Gavin Brown, Matt Walst, Jason Klein and Brian Moncarz. For a childcare curriculum, Adam aims to assist synapse connectivity and communication between the left and right brain for optimal frontal lobe development in children. Childcare VS. JK/SK at public schools The obvious advantage of a JK/SK program offered by public schools is that it is free, however it should be considered that many families still require paid after-school care as public schools only operate between 9 am and 3:30 pm. Below, we would like to share with you some of the advantages of enrolling your child into a quality childcare program: Many 4-5 y.o. children still need to nap in the afternoon and Jk/Sk programs in public s...chool system are simply not equipped for that. Most childcare centers offer meals while public schools do not. Children are required to bring their own packed lunch and snacks to Public school Jk/Sk school program and parents can only wonder whether their children actually ate what was packed for them. At our center, we offer organic, healthy meals which are prepared fresh daily by an on-site chef. We take into consideration dietary restrictions for each child when planning our menu. Unlike public schools, childcare centers generally operate from 8 am to 6 pm and are open during many holidays and during the summer. Our center is open from 7 am to 6 pm. We also offer an opportunity to enroll your child for additional hours in the evenings and on Saturdays (babysitting or educational programs), from 6 to 8 pm on weekdays and 9-2 pm on Saturdays. Outdoor time at public schools is limited to a short recess. At our center, children enjoy outdoor playtime for one hour twice a day. Our Playground is large and has a big canopy to shield the children from the elements. We are also located within 5 min. walk to a beautiful park! Most importantly, our center offers both structured play and academic programs that will prepare your child for grade 1. Our regular program includes Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Art and French. We also offer extra-curricular activities such as Music, Yoga and Zumba. We also offer ethnic languages instruction, as well as Piano lessons and a variety of other subjects. For more information, please visit www.wecarechildcare.ca or call (905) 832-3000 to book a tour.

Did you know? Interesting facts!

WeCare Childcare 08.01.2020

Dear Parents of young children, Imagine that you have a choice between two daycares in your area, one offering a stronger Educational program and second offering better menu and presenting cleaner and newer. Both have a spot for your child. Which one would you choose?

At We Care Childcare, we do care about cognitive development of our children. Just like any Daycare Centre we have our fair share of children who have a bit of delay in speech development and other issues. We offer resources and help. Read on for useful info on language disorder problems in children. It might be worth mentioning also that in Canada ( and certainly in our Daycare Centre area ) many families speak one or two languages at home other than English. Children in such families might have a bit of speech delay due to this fact; however they will enjoy many benefits of learning multiple languages later in life.
