If you let yourself be absorbed completely, if you surrender completely to the moments as they pass, you live more richly those moments. Anne Morrow Lindber...gh Life is made up of moments, both big and little, long and short, the real value is to understand that moments can’t be recreated and to just live in them, with all that you are live richly in them. We had the opportunity to take the kids out for a drive the other day as the weather is finally turning, parks have thawed and parkas and snow pants are no longer required. (I cant stress the word finally enough) We stopped in this little town that we knew had a great park and a beautiful waterfront. To our surprise there was this amazing old mill, there really seems to be nothing more beautiful to the eye of a creative person than rust, decay and wood rot. Needless to say, we made a little detour and pulled out the cameras and kids and went to work. There really is something to be said about the contrasts of a photo that can’t help but catch your eye. Old wood and a young face, rusty metal and flawless skin, a building that’s seemingly been forgotten and a moment that now never will be. We will always remember these as moments that we lived richly in, as a time we saw the beauty in a place that may not be perfect in most peoples eyes, but to us, helped make that moment perfect.
