Kindness can go a long way. Today is World Kindness Day, and this day offers us a reminder of the ripple effect one small act of kindness can have. It is also a great opportunity to teach our children the importance of being caring to others, and how every day we should be kind to everyone around us. Today is #worldeggday - Go ahead tell the kids they can have pizza for breakfast with these delicious English Muffin Breakfast Pizzas. They will have as much fun helping to make them as they will eating them! Instructions: Preheat oven to 400F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside. In a small bowl, whisk eggs with milk.... Heat skillet over medium heat, melt butter and pour in egg mixture. Using a spatula, gently fold and flip eggs creating a soft scramble. Halve and toast English muffins in a toaster. Place toasted muffins on baking sheet, facing up. Spread 1 tbsp of marinara sauce over each piece: spoon scrambled eggs over sauce, top with pepperoni slices and cheese. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. See more

Today we’re introducing Kaitland, who joined Wee Watch Nepean in May 2019. Kaitland has an amazing space, recently renovated, in her basement for the children to develop, learn and grow. With her many innovative ideas, she is constantly empowering her children to be the best that they can be. Arts and crafts, playing and exploring the outdoors, planning creative and educational activities on a regular basis, Kaitland’s child care is a home away from home for the children who are so fortunate to be in her care. Last months Together Wee Can Aerospace Engineering Flying High! program was a HUGE hit to say the least. Wee Watch children certainly seem to have a love for things that fly! Children explored, designed and tested a variety of aircrafts; gliders, helicopters, rockets and paper airplanes, finishing things off with a Paper Airplane Challenge! Fall has arrived, but that doesn’t mean its time to pack in the outdoor adventures. There is so much to see and do this time of year, which is why Wee Watch Providers and children are happy to get out and explore the outdoors everyday. We’ve got 15 activities to enjoy outdoors this fall.

Wee Watch Provider Regina in Toronto West, helped children in her care create their own personal arts/crafts kits. The children loved decorating their own personal kits with colourful stickers and really making it their own! What a great idea Regina! With all the enhanced health and safety protocols and restrictions in place due to COVID-19, its ideal for children to have their own things & limit sharing of items. What a fun way to make it seem intentional and exciting for the kids!

Fall is a gorgeous time of year, get the kids outside interacting with Nature. Try painting with pine cones, something new, simple and fun!

Our Together Wee Can Step into STEM program has been a huge hit this year in our homes, especially this months "Aerospace Engineering - Flying High" theme. Children have been making and flying different types of aircrafts all month and this Friday they will put them to the test with our "FLYING HIGH PAPER AIRPLANE CHALLENGE"! Good luck to all our little pilots out there! Providers, don't forget to take lots of pictures and send them in to be entered in this months contest!
