Happy Saturday everyone! Our store is open from 9:30-3:30 and we have lots in stock! We are also at the Sarnia Farmers Market til noon. Just a reminder that we are closed Sundays and Mondays.

Ribs, one of my favourites. Might seem intimidating to try out at home but once you do, you won't turn back. I have tried them both in the crockpot and the oven and I prefer the oven. Here's how I do it: (for 2 racks of ribs, approx 6lbs) 1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees... 2.Rinse pork ribs and pat dry with paper towels 3.Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs 4. Rub your seasoning on both the back and front side of the ribs 5. Wrap ribs tightly (as pictured) in aluminum foil), meat side up (I also spray the foil with Pam, just as an extra precaution) and place on baking sheet 6. Bake for approx 2-3 hours, until meat is cooked 7. Open foil and drain the liquid from the ribs. Brush on your choice of BBQ sauce (both sides) and broil til you get that nice caramelized of the sauce 8. Remove and let sit for 5-10 mins before serving. And that's all. This, is just unacceptable and it makes me so angry. People in Australia and the UK, who never once stepped foot into these businesses or know what they are about, felt the need to leave negative reviews and comments on their Facebook business page. You are allowed to have your beliefs, that's cool I got my own too, but why do people feel the need to do this. They are messing with people's livelihoods. C'mon people, let's do better. Let's be better.
