And here we are, back at it! Happy New Year Over the last several years, before I head back to work in the new year, I work on creating a Vision Board. This is a very mindful, peaceful few hours for me, where I use stacks of magazines and just flip through, finding images and quotes and words that really stand out for me. I don’t start with any particular vision in mind, but sometimes by the end a clear theme is very apparent. This year seems to be about creating a better w...orld, spreading kindness and creating a culture of kindness at work. These thoughts really meandered through my mind as I cut and pinned. In past years, I’ve held a retreat with my team to develop our own vision boards, and also a team board where we all contribute to our goals for our team for the coming year. They are surprisingly useful in creating a focus and direction to latch on to.
