Can A Naturopath Help Me? Dr. Sunil Mam, ND is offering Complimentary 15-20 minute consultations Call 905 788 3214 to book your appointment... Why/when should you seek a Naturopath? A Naturopath will work to find and correct the origin of a symptom or a complaint. Often a Naturopath has success at treating chronic conditions that don’t respond to conventional medicine. Naturopaths spend a great deal of time collecting information to come up with the best plan for you. They treat the whole person, not just one symptom. Prevention of illness Common symptoms a naturopath can help (Just to list a few) Trouble getting to sleep, staying asleep and feeling rested throughout the day. Heartburn and or other digestive disorders Chronic constipation, diarrhea, chronic belly aches/cramps Females: painful menstruation, night sweats or any menopausal or peri-menopausal symptoms. Chronic fatigue Skin conditions: chronic skin issues to dry & itchy skin that won’t go away. What to expect on your visit: o On first visit, during your 1 hour consultation you will have a complete health history intake and a treatment plan outlined. o Follow up is usually anywhere between 2-4 weeks following your initial appointment for 45 to 30 minutes to assess how well the plan fits, to make necessary changes and answer any questions you may have. If you wish to seek further guidance and have any questions, please feel free to contact the office and book an appointment with: Dr. Sunil Mam N.D. 905-788-3214 Call today to book your complimentary consultation (Check your extended health benefit plan for Naturopathic coverage)

Effective: November 1, 2020 Osteopathy Price Notice (Only affecting Osteopathic Services) ... On September 24,2020 CRA will no longer allow Osteopathy to be HST exempt. This is not a fee for service increase. The CRA has mandated a tax be added by law, which is out of our hands as Osteopathic Manual Practitioners in the province of Ontario. New rates are: 1 hour session is $100 + HST (13%) = $ 113.00 30 mins session is $ 61.95 + HST ( 13%)= $ 70.00 You can find further information please visit: https://www.canada.ca//news108-excise-gst-hst-news-no-108- The application of GST/HST to manual osteopathic services This article outlines the tax status of supplies of manual osteopathic services rendered by osteopathic manual practitioners who are not medical practitioners (licensed physicians or dentists) for GST/HST purposes. There is a difference between the profession of osteopathy engaged in by an osteopathic physician (Doctor of Osteopathy) and an osteopathic manual practitioner. In certain provinces, including Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec, an osteopathic physician who has the required educational background may be admitted to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of the province. Please note that, in this article, the terms manual osteopathic services, osteopathic manual practitioner and manual osteopathy do not refer to the profession of osteopathy that is practiced by an osteopathic physician. Supplies of health care services rendered by osteopathic physicians would generally be exempt pursuant to section 5 of Part II of Schedule V to the Excise Tax Act (the Act). Section 7 of Part II of Schedule V to the Act exempts supplies of certain health care services, including osteopathic services, where the services are rendered to an individual by a practitioner of the service. Thank you for your understanding. Niagara Therapeutics

Our Team Member-Jimmy Hong RMT CLT-LANA will be doing this in honour of Terry Fox. All proceeds go directly to the cause and a tax receipt is provided. Terry Fox was always a person that I can recall who provided a level of emotional inspiration, which continues to move me today. Against all excuses and uneven odds, Terry rose up to the call of action and faced his challenge head on; for himself and for the countless cancer patients and survivors. A true hero rises to the ...call and even after their time still continues to provide hope and faith to those who may not see the brightness of tomorrow. May his sacrifice and action be not in vein; and that we, as the people, continue to support such integrity and strength in others so that we may all rise up to the challenges in our lives. On September 20, 2020 I will be covering the distance of 35KM within the Niagara region. This approximates what Terry ran in one day during his Marathon of Hope, which he consecutively ran for 143 days. Please help me support and raise $500 for this great cause. I have already sponsored myself 10% of my goal. Thank you for your donation and support in helping Terry's spirit be remembered with respect and honour. God bless to those who are struggling, God bless to those who are loving and God bless to those who still choose to stand up to the challenges of life. www.terryfox.ca/jimmyhong
