Nancy moved from Ontario to Peachland in 2016. In 2018, she officially retired after spending over 40 years in the Advertising and Television Research Industry. Now she is actively involved in the PWC as a Board Director and various committees.

Kym's heart and soul have always resided in non-profit, community-based business sectors Kym is a passionate advocate for mental health and volunteers her time supporting the implementation of legislation and increased services for individuals and communities struggling with mental health challenges.

For the second year, Janice has won the gingerbread house competition in the Individual/Adult Category. Congratulations Janice! and thanks for participating. Gingerbread House Competition Update: We are happy to announce the winners in the Children's Category: Edie and Callan Friessen! Congratulations Creation description: Edie: There was a peaceful cottage but then evil knights from the castle came along. Callan: The friendly knights were just gathering on the street for a Christmas party for their neighbours.

As we watch 2020 wind down, enjoying the holiday season as best we can, the Peachland Wellness Centre is already looking ahead to the next season. That would be the Income Tax season.

The preparations are underway for the Annual Community Christmas Dinner, the committee is working hard to organize and host this event, in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion #69.

The Peachland Wellness Center offers a Bereavement Support Group year-round. This year during the pandemic restrictions, the group held socially distanced sessions outside, then moved inside at the 50+ Activity Centre and 4th Street Place.

The PWC offers a transportation service, where volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to both pickup and deliver groceries and essential items to Peachland residents who are not able to go grocery shopping.
