Sometimes the online environment can feel overwhelming and draining, and that is ok! Zoom exhaustion is a real thing and can result from things like being hyp...er-focused or trying to multi-task while performing online activities, such as virtual meetings. As we continue to do much of our work and socializing online, it is important to take steps to nurture our health and wellbeing while we engage in these activities. Check out some these great tips from www.mindful.org on how to find balance and connection in the online environment. Here is the link to the original article for more information: https://www.mindful.org/zoom-exhaustion-is-real-here-are.../ #balance #stayconnected #selfcare #mentalhealth

This year’s World Mental Health Day comes at a time when our daily lives have changed considerably as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The past months have brought many challenges: for health-care workers, providing care in difficult circumstances, going to work fearful of bringing COVID-19 home with them; for students, adapting to taking classes from home, with little contact with teachers and friends, and anxious about their futures; for workers whose livelihoods are threatened; for the vast number of people caught in poverty or in fragile humanitarian settings with extremely limited protection from COVID-19; and for people with mental health conditions, many experiencing even greater social isolation than before. Know that you are not alone. #breakthestigma
Please note Wellkin offices will be closed Monday, October 12th for Thanksgiving. Regular agency hours resume Tuesday, October 13th.
