Creating new a lifestyle can be challenging! The biggest challenge for most is to take that first sometimes excruciating FIRST STEP! The next biggest challenge we faces is MAINTAINING the new pattern of behaviour that begins to move you in the right direction! THE COMPOUND EFFECT!!!! If we are being honest with ourselves we can acknowledge that where we are in our finances, health, relationships or business is a reflection of daily, continuous (sometimes boring) steps taken... on a daily basis. The unfortunate truth is that we often ignore the compound when it affects us in a less than desirable way! If you're ready for a positive change in your health, business or life here's an activity you can start NOW to starting banking small, seemingly insignificant actions that can provide you INCREDIBLE results! STEP 1: Write down the area of PAIN or area you're struggling with. STEP 2: Create a list of items that have contributed to where you're at today. Ask a loved one to add to this if you're having trouble identifying these routines/habits. (Key here is to list things you are personally responsible for, avoid listing things outside of your control) STEP 3: List 3 items or small actionable steps you can take daily to REPLACE 3 of the items that contribute to your current results. STEP 4: Keep track and document #1 if you were successful in achieving the 3 item daily replacement action steps. STEP 5: Once per month review your results, & add in 1 additional habit that will COMPOUND the effects made in the previous month thus assuring you continue to move forward towards the desired goal! NOTE: When you document & report days you've fallen off track, be gentle with yourself and understand that is part of the GAME! You are human and will fall down so it's up to you or your accountability partner to remind you that failing forward is still MOVING FORWARD!
