We are happy to confirm that the overdue rider was located by aircraft this afternoon. After a wrong turn, a few stucks, and a cold night on the mountain, every...one gets to go home safe tonight. This would not have been possible without the professional assistance of Prince George, Central Cariboo and Quesnel Search and Rescue. We would like to give a big thank you to everyone with SAR as well as local RCMP, WSC Riders, and everyone who assisted or offered assistance to bring the riders to safety. We would like to remind all adventurers to come prepared with the proper gear and safety equipment for your activity. Ensure you have adequate training and knowledge of the area, and always leave a trip plan with a friend or family member. See more

**Update: Both individuals have been located and accounted for. A big thank you to PG SAR, Central Cariboo SAR, and Quesnel SAR, as well as local RCMP, WSC Memb...ers, everyone who shared our post and those who came to join our search! Unfortunately we do have two over due riders from the Yanks Peak area today. Two males, One on a newer orange and black SP Ski-Doo and the other on a newer orange and black Polaris RMK. If you saw either of these sleds or riders or anything unusual today please share, any information is appreciated.

We all have questions and concerns about what is going to happen this ski season at Troll Resort. To answer ONE of your questions, Yes face coverings are requir...ed when you are here. When and where do you have to wear one?? When you are in any of our buildings and when you are unable to keep a physical distance of 6 feet. Thank you for doing your part in keeping our community safe!

Groundhog Lake today for a bit of trail and cabin maintenance. The required COVID signage has been posted and we also now have a white board to help riders relay messages in the backcountry! There was 120cm of snow around the cabin.
