It’s #MotivationMonday, and today we’re inspired by the students across Rwanda who have been returning to their classrooms to continue on in their educational journey. We celebrate their tenacity and love of learning, and look forward to all that lies ahead of them this new year of school!

This year, we all understand what it means to have lost potentialbut it is perhaps most evident in the lives of the millions of students forced out of school. The hopes and dreams of children across the globe were put on hold this year, just like the ones of Moise. While we can’t reverse the interruption to their schooling, we can make sure these kids return to an education where they can rediscover their dreams and potential and you have the power to see this come true. Will you stand with these students by making a donation? When you give, you're helping unlock the potential of Rwandan children and, through them, unlocking the potential of the future. Head here to donate today: https://thewellspringfoundation.org/unlock-potential/

Each child is filled with hopes and dreams for their future, and potential waiting to be explored and released! When students receive a quality education from Wellspring-trained teachers who encourage discovery, nurture character, and instil intelligence, they are equipped to take on their future with excitement and confidence! Did you have a teacher that saw your potential and helped you reach it? Leave us a note in the comments. We'd love to hear your story!

Our Rwandan team walked alongside school leaders, teachers, and parents by providing training and support while also addressing tangible hygiene needs to ensure a safe return to school. As students get back into the swing of school, we know their health is protected through hand-washing as they learn in classrooms once again!

Wellspring training isn’t just a one-time thing! After training every school leader in Rubavu and Gasabo Districts in creating School Improvement Plans, our team followed up with schools that struggled with the concepts and held extra workshops to ensure leaders are equipped to lead their school toward excellence at both the heart and mind level. Our trainers consistently walk alongside school leaders, teachers, and parents so that they are equipped to make #education the best it can be!

In the past, we were given some information about SIP and were asked to go implement it in our schools. Sincerely speaking, we didn’t know where to start, where to go, and how to get there. But after [Wellspring’s] training, I gained enough knowledge and skills about the SIP and I am confident to do it effectively. I believe that it will contribute to the academic progress of our children in the time to come.Head teacher of G.S Ndera School is back in session, and head teachers are excited about potential this new school year holds! After walking with Wellspring trainers through creating School Improvement Plans, leaders look forward to the success of each student as they get back into the routine of learning.

"Teaching is like growing something. When you educate, you can see how the child grows more than yesterday and can become someone who is beautiful for themself and for society. Seeing the potential in each student, Collette, head teacher of G.S. Kabuye, has used Wellspring training to transform her school into a place for children to learn, grow, and flourish. Collette and her staff have taken the time and effort to equip students with a quality education that cultivates and releases their potential, knowing the result is always worth it! #TBT #qualityeducation #potential

When we learn from the past, we can build a better tomorrow. Today, we pause and remember. #LestWeForget
