Yoga Nidra Every Other Monday 2:00 3:00pm (Feb. 1) Experience deep relaxation as you’re guided through the stages of Yoga Nidra.... Sit or lie down, get comfortable with a blanket and pillows. Be still and listen as we explore breath, body scan, and sensory integration. Benefits may include unwinding tension, peacefulness, restful sleep, and healing of trauma. Wellspring Niagara celebrates 20 years! Since June 6, 2001, Wellspring Niagara has been a vital resource. As Niagara’s only cancer support centre, Wellspring Niagara has been offering free supportive care programming to men, women and children living with cancer. For patients, caregivers and family members, Wellspring’s programs and services have helped people overcome the many challenges brought on by a cancer diagnosis. As we celebrate this impactful 20 year milestone, be...ginning today and throughout the year, we will share stories and reflect on our successes, achievements, and highlight our community impact. Caregivers Connect: Support and Relaxation is a group program that provides a community for caregivers of cancer patients to meet with one another. This is a combined support group and relaxation program that provides caregivers (family members, friends or others who play a significant role in the care of the cancer patient) the opportunity to meet with others to share and discuss the challenges of the caregiving role.
