Frost is on the doorstep and we still have a few thousand bags of sweet corn that’s not quite ready to harvest. Well - when the County Crochet Club heard the forecast, they got busy and crocheted more than 10,000 cob hats to keep the remaining ears toasty. Watch for our final sweet corn at market this week. And...thanks CCC!

It's starting to feel like fall is in the air. Nothing says summer like a fresh batch of sweet corn and we've got what you need - for a few more weeks anyway! Boil it, bbq it, salsa it, pickle it, freeze it, deep fry it, fritter it, cream it...the choices are endless. In the words of the ancient Greek Goddess of Victory, Nike, "just do it!". Welsh Bros premium. fresh. produce.

Happy Long Weekend! Please be safe...and eat lots of our sweet corn! Just a few more weeks left in this year's season and, once it's gone - it's gone (until next year). We've had lots of people ask if you can freeze a full cob of corn. The answer is YES! Husk and remove the silks...place in boiling water for 3 minutes...remove and immediately place in an ice bath. When cool, dry the cob and wrap very tightly in plastic wrap...place in a freezer bag...and freeze. Trust us - you'll thank us in February!

As we've said before...we don't tell our sweet corn when it's ready - it tells us! THANK YOU ALL for supporting our farm and loving our sweet corn as much as we do. We can't pick it as fast as you've been buying it! We're not going to be at the OFT tomorrow (Thursday) as our sweet corn needs a little more time in the fields. We'll be back at the Terminal on Friday with a limited supply and we should be back to full supply next week. You're all #CORNSTARs in our books!
