The British Medical Journal has now published an article saying the vaccine trials are not designed to determine if the vaccine will reduce outcomes like death and hospitalization OR the spread of the virus -- which has been the big selling point of having the vaccine in the first place. It all comes down to time and money. Do you want a vaccine quickly or do you want a vaccine that reduces death and reduces transmission of the virus? "Hospital admissions and deaths from cov...id-19 are simply too uncommon in the population being studied for an effective vaccine to demonstrate statistically significant differences in a trial of 30 000 people." Our trial will not demonstrate prevention of transmission, Zaks said, because in order to do that you have to swab people twice a week for very long periods, and that becomes operationally untenable. COVID CENSORING More long-term health facilities, those places where the residents are the most vulnerable, were impacted by COVID during this second wave. The most compelling reason to continue our measures is to protect the individuals most at risk and that is not working. That is disturbing, but not as upsetting as the censoring of all of the professionals who are questioning the science and the measures that have been put in place to control the virus. ... The only message that is allowed is, "Be Afraid, be Very Afraid". There is something out there that is dangerous. Other people are dangerous. Stay home. At this point many, many individuals have been 'cancelled' by our culture for speaking out. Groups of doctors and scientists have come together to write letters encouraging governments to rethink their strategies. See here for another one: https://gbdeclaration.org/ I was compelled to write this because I had a personal experience that is causing me great distress. Stats Canada, one of our federal government "independent" science organizations came out with a piece. I wrote a post on it. The information from a federal organization that is part of the Canadian government stated, there have been no excess deaths between Jan-Jun 2020. There was a bump in March and April, ironically not from COVID, but over the first half of the year the number of people who died was what was expected in an average year. In other words, people die everyday. Stats Canada knows how many people die on average and from that they can predict the number of people who are likely to die in any given time frame. The first half of this year DID NOT show an increase in deaths. This is not in-line with the messaging that we are receiving to be afraid. Now, when I click on the link from my previous post, the post is gone. There is a different post that does not have the same statement. Why is the Canadian Government censoring itself? Why is there such a push to keep information out of the hands of citizens? I think we need to ask ourselves what is actually going on.
