Whole Wheat Banana Flax Muffins These muffins are easy to make and yummy. I love that the recipe calls for 1/2c of flax which is a good source of dietary fibre and omega 3-fatty acids. Flax is also considered a phytoestrogen which is a plant based estrogen. It’s a staple in my diet to help promote breast health. I reduce the sugar to 1/4c of maple syrup and 1/4c of coconut sugar. With the mashed banana, I find this amount of sugar sweet enough....
