Reminder that the final fall trampoline session is this Friday January 8th. Here is an import message from titans regarding parents entering and viewing from the upstairs gallery Hello everyone, ... We would like to welcome everyone back to Titans, we are so excited to see all our athletes. With the new restrictions put in place by the Province we have a few new requests for our viewing gallary upstairs. 1. If your child is over the age of 9 and can manage coming into the facility alone and finding their class, please drop then off and pick them up outside the facility. 2. If your child is 8 or under and they are ok to do their class without you being in attendance we ask you not stay in the viewing gallery and wait for them. Once the class is complete your welcome to come back into the facility and collect them. 3. If your child needs help with washroom breaks or has other needs your welcome to stay in the gallery however you must maintain social distance from others and wear your mask at all times. 4. With stricter rules in place with gatherings only one person is to enter the building with each child. If you have a child in parent and tot only one parent can enter with the child. We understand there will be different situations that will come up with these rules. We will be coming around each day just to remind parents that stay in the gallery upstairs of the rules in case they missed our messages regarding the changes. We are not trying to single anyone out, just making sure everyone has the new updates. Once again we thank you for your patience. Snow School programs are now live and open for registration! https://skiwentworth.ca/product-catego/snow-school-programs There are some changes to comply with... public health guidelines. We are happy to bring you quality products to get everyone learning and enjoying the sport of gliding. We invite you to take a look and explore our brochure. However, with limited capacity we expect all programs to sell out quickly. Many programs have moved to full day lessons, instead of half days. This will allow for group cohorts to stay together for the day. Our staff will be able to focus on one particular group a day, delivering a high quality product. We’re not able to offer Tots on Skis program for this season. We’ve added different options, such as a book of 8 private lessons for the price of 7. All private and learn to ski/board lessons, including learn to ski/board, must be pre booked this season (We will let you know when we are ready for bookings). Here is what to expect for this coming 2020-2021: 8 week Multiweek Children and Adult Programs - Limited spots available with only 50% capacity. - Expect changes in programs and availability. - Staggered start times will be implemented for all Snow School programs. This will ensure guests and staff are spread out at meeting and pick up time and the chairlift. - One parent or guardian to drop off student. Parents are encouraged to ski/snowboard or wait in the vehicle or in our outdoor space. This will prevent crowding in our lodge. - A mask is to be worn at all times, indoor and outdoor areas by all instructors and students. Non-medical mask indoors and face covering outside. A mask will be mandatory anywhere on Ski Wentworth property this season. - No make up lessons will be done unless of hill closure. - Instructors will be following CSIA and CASI best practices which encourages to teach in a hands free environment. - The Port Greville room will be used as a warming place for program students and staff only on weekends. No lunch will be allowed in the room. Staff and students will access the PG room from the outside door (door facing highway 4). A roped off walkway will be provided from the bottom of the mountain to the back door. - Instructor availability might be less consistent given the Covid protocols. We ask for your cooperation during these times. Private Lessons - pre-booking mandatory - Private Lessons will be offered on the hour from 10:00-3:00 by reservation only. - Lessons to be paid in full upon booking - Face coverings are to be worn at all times throughout the lesson by the student and the instructor. - Instructors will be following CSIA and CASI best practices which encourages to teach in a hands free environment. - Instructor availability could be limited due to Covid Protocols. Learn to Ski/Board Ages 10+ only - pre-booking mandatory - Minimum of 2 people per group and a maximum of 4. - Learn to Ski/Board will follow proper social distancing throughout the lesson. - Face coverings are to be worn at all times throughout the lesson by the student and the instructor. - Instructors are encouraged to teach in a hands free environment. - Instructor availability could be limited due to Covid protocols. *The Snow School operational plan is subject to change with accordance with Nova Scotia Public Health guidelines. **Any guests and/or staff who are feeling unwell are recommended to stay home and follow public health guidelines. ***No Makeup time for lessons due to sickness, weather or other. While the awards from slopestyle were going on we snuck up and hand shaped the jumps at big air site. Everything is ready to go for tomorrow! Going to be fun!! There is a Small,M/L, and XL jump.
