Community Update. The West Elgin Performing Arts Centre is located in the upper level of the municipal building in Dutton. The ghost light is lit at this time as WEDS is not currently running programming but there are other community initiatives ongoing. Please read the following message from the Municipality of Dutton Dunwich. We hope you're all keeping safe and healthy.

Here's a bit of theatre news to brighten the day for those who are missing the stage. The Grand in London is going online for a high school theatre project. This program will run two evenings each week, from the week of October 19th to the week of November 16th. All programming will take place over Zoom sessions hosted by Megan Watson and Meghan O’Hara, and will be a combination of Master Classes and project work sessions, culminating in an invite-only presentation of show pitches. Topics will include: musical theatre canon, show selection, dramaturgy, design, directing, concept development, and performance. Spots are limited. Apply by October 9th.
