In a world that is ever changing, and sometimes we say we want change, and yet other times we wish things could just remain as they once were. But in all reality children grow up, once we are born the aging process is set in motion. There is such joy when we see the little baby that is born. Hope arises in our hearts as we celebrate this new little one into our lives. But it doesn’t take long before they are getting their first tooth, crawling, walking, riding their bike with...out training wheels!!! Yes, things are changing and do change faster than we may even realize. Not all change is good, not all change moves us forward... there are changes that take place that can be regressive in our lives instead of progressing. There are things in our country in our world that have regressed, moved away from godly principles... sometimes I ask myself how have we fallen so far... so many things seem to be spiralling out of control. But when I read the verse of the day, that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, my heart found rest and peace. We need stability, we need Someone we can count on. Someone that loves, that cares, that forgives. Someone that went above and beyond to restore our brokenness. His name is Jesus. The life He lived, the death He died, was all done for you and for me, for the whole world. The gospel message has not and never will change! No matter what happens, no matter what is said or done or however much the world keeps changing ! The word of God will remain True Forever and I find peace and joy and comfort in that. I can’t imagine my ancestors ever saying, hey when we lived it was so wonderful because their was a message of a Saviour Jesus Christ and He gave His life for our sins and if we repented and turned to Him and asked Him to come into our lives, we were saved!!! Can you imagine them saying but that was just for our generation, the blood of Jesus is not for you and your children etc. That would be awful, that would be a lie! Yes, Jesus is the same, the gospel was their for our parents, great grandparents and to as many as are far off!And this message has not changed and will not change!!! But there will come a day... when the Lord will return and someday, judgement day will come upon the whole word, then the end will come! But someday all sin and sicknesss will be done away with! So as God says! Today is the day of salvation, please read Hebrews 3:7-8 Blessings Margie See more

I heard a sermon about how in our generation "my generation" if parents did not go to church they still made sure that there children went to Sunday school. I wonder if I were to take a survey on how many children go to Sunday school or go to church how many would say that church is a very important part of their family. I wonder how many young people know the ten commandments, and what the bible has to say about God's love for them. I grew up in a home that was less than ide...al. But I went to Sunday school and church, when I was young a very godly woman whom I came to love and know as "gramma" came and took some of us to church. This time in my life was very important because there was placed within my heart a love for Jesus, and an understanding of what Jesus did for me, well for all of mankind. I had a hope knowing that Jesus was real, I loved being in His presence. I grew up in a Pentecostal church and the Holy Spirit was such an important part in my life. I came to love worshipping God, and I still enjoy His presence. God's word and His love has sustained me through so many of life's problems. Today so many people are without hope, not knowing what to do. But Jesus is the Answer. He offers peace where there is none. He offers love where there is only hate. He extends mercy where we can find none. Lamentations 3:22-23 says God's mercies are new every morning. Regardless of what you may have heard, Jesus loves you, He extends His hand to you, if you have not already done so why not take hold of His nail pierced hands. Are you weary worn and tired Jesus says come to Him and He will give you rest. Blessings Margie Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This song my Mercy Me, has deeply touched my heart... I pray it will yours as well, as you listen to the words of this song... Today, if we were together at Bible Study, at church, or sharing a cup of tea or coffee together, I would want to tell you that God loves you... I know we hear these words many times...... But, today, I pray you will begin to know that Gods love goes above or beyond anything you or I could imagine! I believe we need to hear this, I believe we need to experience His Love!!! Dear child of God, no matter what you and I are facing, when we know that God loves us we can climb mountains we never thought we could, we can ride through storms we never imagined were possible... Gods love is perfect, His love never fails and His love never gives up!!! May you find peace that passes all understanding as you take time to quiet yourself before God, and take out your bible and begin to read the passages about Gods Love!!! Jeremiah 31:3 Gods Love is everlasting. Gods love changes lives, I know, because His Love changed mine!!! Blessings Margie Mezenberg See more

Don’t for get who you are, more importantly don’t forget who the Shepherd is and how much He loves you !!! Did you know that God is looking for you? Ezekiel 34:11 says the Lord God will search for His sheep, v.12 He will be like a shepherd looking for his flock. He says He will rescue His sheep from all the places they were scattered in that dark and cloudy day. v.16 The Lord God says I will seek my lost ones, those who strayed away, and bring them safely home again... Perh...aps some circumstance in your life may have caused you to turn away from God, but God has not turned away from you, He seeks you and longs for you to turn towards Him and He will bind up your wounds and heal your broken heart. The Lord is my Shepherd... Psalms 23. Blessings Margie The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever. Psalms 23:1-6 NKJV https://www.bible.com/114/psa.23.1-6.nkjv

Heavenly Father... so many people are hurting and suffer with emotional pain and distress. Sometimes the sky paints a picture of the heart. As grey skies surround us and the rain falls our hearts are also clouded with distress. So I ask You to encourage the ones that are struggling today. Please bring them peace. In Jesus Name Jeremiah 8:22 N.I.V. says Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is there no healing for the wound of my peopl...Continue reading

Prayer is an incredible honour and privilege... To go before the Creator of the universe, Who was in the beginning and Who always was and always will be... So on this last day of October, I am praying for all who read this post... I thank God for each and every one of you. I pray God will help each one of us to experience the glory of Gods presence today. I pray that the Word of God will comfort and bring peace to each heart. May we see the beauty of the Lord around us as ...we set our mind on Him. I pray for doors to open, and others to shut in accordance to the plan and purpose of God for each individual life. I pray for the impossible to become possible, because with the Lord, nothing is impossible... I praise God that as Romans 8:28,37 says The Lord will cause all things to work together for good to those who love God, and are called according to His purpose, and I thank God that we are more than conquerors through our Lord Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father , may the hearts of Your children be blessed, as we look to You, Dear Lord in whom we trust. In Jesus Name. Amen. Blessings Margie And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans 8:28-29 NKJV

S P I R I T U A L I T Y Overcoming Evil Through Prayer Some Guidelines The Bible shows us clearly that we are engaged in a battle that is taking place in the... spiritual realm. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (NKJV). We are engaged in this battle because we’ve been enlisted as soldiers in God’s army. God has given us an armour and weapons that are suitable for this warfare. Prayer is a mighty weapon He has given to the church. If we learn how to use it skilfully, we will experience great results, appropriating the victory Christ has won for us. https://testimony.paoc.org/a/overcoming-evil-through-prayer See more

Everyday God is with us! He never takes a vacation! He never gives up on us! He is ever interceding for us! He knows the fears, He understands the sleepless nig...hts! My prayer for you today, is to recognize God’s Love! See His mercy! Know His forgiveness! This verse reminds me once again that my strength comes from God, not from myself! I cannot do anything apart from Christ but fail! But, God’s word assures us, that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! Perhaps you have fallen and think you have fallen too far to get up, maybe your mind continues to tell you that you will never overcome! You will never be free! But God says, He is our strength! When we are weak He is strong! (2 Corinthians 12:2). Arise child of God, He is fighting for you! (Deuteronomy 20:4) and if God is for us, who can be against us!(Romans 8:31) May the strength and peace of God fill every troubled heart as we wait upon the Him!!! He loves you!!! Static can be very annoying! When the channel on the radio has interference, we immediately try to fix it, or change the channel. When the internet lags when we are trying to watch something and it stops and starts, many times frustration sets in and we shut off the movie or game... Then when the satellite goes out because of a storm, you are right in the middle of watching something and we read no signal... Our lives can be like that at times, when we lose our connection bec...ause of static, or procrastination, or circumstances... What do we do? Many times we get frustrated and upset, and just move along to something else till we gain our connection... In our walk with God sometimes when things happen that cause us to lose our connection with God and His people, we too become upset, and try to fill our lives with other things... having a connection with God and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ is of utmost importance for a clear "signal" Maybe something happened in your life that caused you to say, I give up on God... static in the connection... prayers were not answered, how I wanted them to be...Maybe you went to church and the pastor spoke on something and you said this place is too convicting, I don't want to change anything in my life "lagging" yet God has been speaking to you about some things that need to change "procrastination " Circumstances may have come and you have lost your connection with God/Prayer/ The Word/ you lost your "signal" you may have decided to give up on this Christianity all together... If you can relate to any of these things, First of all God is still there, He is drawing you back unto Himself, He never gave up on you... the church is a place where we come to worship corporately and if the word of God brings conviction rejoice, because whom the Lord loves He disciplines... and if the church has let you down, I apologize and say, I am sorry, we are not perfect, but we are trying to live according to Gods word and reach out... Although church may look different at this time, it is important and we need to stay connected...whether we meet together by phone or internet we need one another!!! So by the Love our Lord Jesus Christ may we be connected by Gods grace, empowered to live for Him and strengthen each other. Blessings Margie See more

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed;... we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed-always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 2 Corinthians 4:7-10 I want you to know today that you will not be overcome. In the midst of your trial, your life will actually become a living testimony to others. A testimony to what? you say. A testimony to the reality that you have an inner strength in Christ, which cannot be overcome. It’s an inner treasure of strength, which the struggling all around you are now crying out for. God has chosen you to show them who He is. It’s time to pray.
