Big HAPPY news at Westbridge! We warmly welcome a new Veterinarian to our team. Please join us in welcoming Dr Susanne Graf! Dr. Graf joins us as the newest member of the veterinary team. Although new to Westbridge, she has worked in the Brampton area for the majority of her professional life and brings her 20+ years of small animal experience to the team. She is happy to be reunited with colleagues that she has worked with previously, in her veterinary career. Those early d...ays established a standard that greatly influenced her approach to veterinary medicine throughout the years that followed. It is her sincere hope that Westbridge patients will enjoy the benefits once again of the familiar collaborative efforts. Dr. Graf is pictured here with one of her favorite senior patients, Sol, whose chronic renal failure she has been helping to support for several years. As a clinician, Dr. Graf concentrates her time in the consulting room, where teaching clients about animal health care, both physical and mental, is the most rewarding experience for her. She is more than happy to let the rest of the doctors look after patients when they need the expertise of a surgeon. In her free time she is lucky to live on a property in the country, where routine contact to nature helps to keep her grounded with mother earth. Her first degree from York University in Ecology, highlights her eco-nerd side (aka tree hugger) and as such she is currently on a mission to eliminate an invasive plant species that threatens the health of not only our Ontario forests but those of North Eastern North America. She is delighted to be a member at Westbridge Veterinary Hospital and looks forward to meeting all of you and your furry friends.

As you know, during November we have been celebrating our Senior Pet patients. But something you may have not known is that behind the scenes we have also been celebrating some very important members of our team. Our Animal Care Attendants (affectionately referred to as our ACA'S) November is Westbridge's ACA Appreciation Month! Our ACA's play an integral role in the care and comfort of our furry patients. When your pet is with us, it is your ACA that is responsible for th...eir walks, feeding, comfortable and clean bedding, keeping litter boxes spic and span, giving your pet encouraging pats and words when the Dr is examining and when the Technicians are taking blood or giving nail trims. If that wasn't enough, their job also includes sterilizing and packaging surgical instruments, and helping to keep Westbridge a clean and beautiful hospital. I could go on and on about all they do for us, but I'm sure you get the idea. You may recognize some of our ACA's in the photos as during COVID, they are usually the ones coming outside to escort your pet into the clinic. We couldn't do what we do without them. Thank you so very much to Katie, Mayra, Corey, Sam, and Jayde. Next time you come, please feel free to let them know how much you appreciate the awesome care they are giving to your pets! See more

Increased demand from new furry family members and changes to policies designed to keep our team, clients, and pets safe, have all led to less appointment availability than usual. Please know that we are doing our best to continue serving you and your furry family members. Thank you for your patience and understanding
