WOW!!! Once again our community showed up with their support for West Central Abilities!!! Our 2nd Annual Online Fundraising Auction raised $4403!!!! Thank you to everyone who made a donation, placed a bit or shared with friends and family!!! The funds raised will be used for our new Program Building!!! We are so excited to be working toward this long time goal for providing the best supports to the individuals in our community who are experiencing disability!!!

On February 3, it was homemade soup day. GH3 decided to try making a new soup no one had tried before! Chicken Pot Pie Soup served with warm cheddar biscuits. Helen helped Brianna prepare the soup ingredients and they made a very flavourful, hearty soup! Trevor and Helen and Sharaya made the biscuits for the soup!... The two had lots of fun mixing the dough and plopping it on the baking sheet! We could see their excitement as the smell of fresh baking biscuits filled the house!

Everyone in gh3 was so excited to hear the groundhog didn’t see his shadow, meaning we can expect spring just around the corner!!!! Everyone yelled yayyyyy and clapped their hands when we told them we can expect spring time soon! Brianna did a fun craft with Trevor and Helen, making some cute groundhogs. Sharaya worked with Trevor and Helen to whip up some delicious chocolate cupcakes and everyone took some time to decorate those cupcakes into some more cute little ground h...ogs. The end result= everyone had fun, got a nice chocolate fix and got excited dreaming about spring time weather and sunshine!!!
