From November 27th 30th, we asked you to help provide breakfasts for children across Canada. Your generosity truly inspired us, and we're doubling the amount ...raised. In total, we'll be donating over $27,000 to Breakfast Club of Canada / Club des petits déjeuners. The latest indicators from the Breakfast Club of Canada point to an increase in Canadian households' food insecurity due to the global pandemic. Their May 2020 covid-impact report stated that almost one in seven Canadians indicated that they lived in a household where there was food insecurity in the past 30 days. Our team was joined virtually by organizers at Breakfast Club of Canada to learn how donations made to the organization lessen families' hardships in need. We learned that one of the core missions of Canada's Breakfast Club is to support educational prosperity for children, providing them with the nourishment their bodies and minds need to be successful in school.
