Happy Friday everyone! I've come out of hiding to introduce you to our new sleep consultant, Patricia! Patricia is a Registered Social Worker who has worked with children for many years, in many capacities. ... Having struggled with her own little ones' sleep issues, Patricia understands the lows that sleep deprivation brings and the importance of gently introducing independent sleep skills. She will support you through this journey to ensure that you meet your goals quickly and with as minimal stress as possible! I cannot tell you how excited I am to be adding Patricia to the team! It will give West Coast Sleep the opportunity to help more families (faster!) and take some extra time to be able to get more involved with the parenting community - online and offline!
Went camping this weekend with a friend (who has been through my program). She was sleeping in the back of her vehicle with her toddler and actually cut out cardboard to black out her windows (tarped the front windows). My child was up at 6am. Hers was up at 8am. I tought her well
Beautiful reminder to hold space for our little one's big emotions
All you can eat pancakes with Santa and Batman this weekend (in Victoria)! Bring your littles out for some fun and support a good cause
So honored to be nominated! Voting starts Jan 1st :)
The best part of my job is getting update emails. Look at this sweet girl with Santa - doesn't she look rested? "I just wanted to share some positive news with you! P***** has been an absolute champ and continued her wonderful sleeping habits since we last spoke! We just went to Los Cabos for a week and she adjusted seamlessly! We followed your travel tips and there were no issues at all. We have been home a couple days now and she had no issues falling right back into her own routine at home. On the plane, it took her a few minutes to figure out that she was allowed to sleep on us again. She fought it at first, but then really embraced it. I could not be more proud of her! She napped 3 times a day in the stroller by the pool and we had lots of compliments from people observing us! Haha. Thanks again for all your help!"
It's almost that time of the year
