This song had been singing me forever. Its not until you try to sing one of teena's songs, that you realize how incredible of a singer that woman was. I lost.my voice back in my early 20s (nodes) and have since, been studying vocals and have fixed mine and many of my students voices. Allowing them total vocal freedom, with all the right control, breathing, grounding,muscle coordination and resonace. I got tagged in a post alongside many other vocal coaches ( that are all fab) about someone needing a vocal coach for a vocal injury. This was my response.... "Who ever you go with, make sure they have had OR specialize in vocal injury. I do because i had a bad cause of nodes back 27ish years ago, fixed them and came up with a vocal system for vocal injury and specialize in that. I know there are many teachers out there that WILL NOT have the skill to help you... but here is how you can help yourself. If you dont get better after about 3 lessons... and the teachers does not completely change your vocal approach, or you leave lessons feeling tired in your voice....RUN. It all has to come to control and muscle coordination. Good luck!!!
