Our friends at Roedde House Museum are having a Christmas event. Dates: December 8th to 12th and December 15th to 19th Time slots: 5pm to 9:15pm on each of the above dates... Special Promo: If you household has 5 members in in, the fifth member gets free admission! Event Overview: An immersive self-guided Christmas Carol tour which will take you through each of the rooms of Roedde House as you experience Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol story through audio and visual effects. Tours have been spaced so that groups do not overlap, and the experience is a no-touch walking tour through the house which will be decorated for a Victorian Christmas, as would have been celebrated by the Roedde family. Please be aware that you could be fined $230 for not wearing a mask in an indoor, public space. Masks are most effective when everyone is wearing them. Face shields do not substitute for masks because of the space between the barrier and nose and mouth. http://ow.ly/XTWh50CuPuZ

Our friends at 411 Seniors Centre Society lead the Powered by Age podcast - a podcast for older adults by older adults! Come and enjoy the spirit of Halloween today at 1 pm. The theme is disguises, masks and the different identities that we wear, and have worn, in our lives. As older adults, we've worn A LOT of hats! What are they? What have we learned by wearing each of them? How do we lean into new identities presented as we grow older? You'll hear presentations by a coupl...e of "our regulars" and have time to share our special reflections on these topics. Feel free to invite a friend to join you. Open the Zoom app on your computer, and click to JOIN a meeting. Use the meeting ID and password below. Meeting ID: 4113332020 Password: 411333 No Zoom app? You can call in by telephone at (778) 907-2071. Use the same login details. You’ll hear this prompt: Welcome to Zoom. Enter your Meeting ID, followed by the # key. Use your telephone keypad to enter the 9-Digit Meeting ID, then press the #. Same process with the password. www.poweredbyage.com #poweredbyage #411 #wesn #sgsc #alliance #olderadults #seniors #podcast
