Where: Via Zoom Time: 5:30pm Dr. Elizabeth Povinelli The Ends of Art, A Karrabing Perspective Dr. Povinelli is an anthropologist and filmmaker. She is Franz Boas Professor of Anthropology at Columbia University, New York and Corresponding Fellow of the Australian Academy for the Humanities; she is also a founding member of the Karrabing Film Collective. Dr. Povinelli will discuss the aims and ends of artistic practice in the context of ongoing settler colonialism.
