January is #NaitonalHobbyMonth. And our great Krissy Gorniak, Western Financial Group’s, Insurance Advisor, from Wolseley, Sask, has a marvelous knack for woodworking! Building furniture became a passion for Krissy over the past few years and she mentioned how it all began: I found a desk that I wanted in my room and asked my brother to help me build it! We got started that weekend and It was so fun I continued to work on my own projects! Krissy received her Carpentry certi...ficate and previously was working for a cabinets company out of Regina working on million-dollar homes, she said: My friend and I had a discussion and she told me that ‘sometimes your hobbies don’t have to be your career,’ which made me realize that I loved working on my own stuff rather than working in homes. I decided to take a step back and started my career with Western Financial Group! I still Love creating furniture and I am happiest doing it in my spare time. Thanks for sharing with us, Krissy!
