This December, Western Capital Markets is hosting their annual U.S. Industry Conference, consisting of multiple firm info sessions, panels, and keynote speakers over Zoom. Running from December 3rd to 5th (next Thursday to Saturday), our 3 industry panels will feature recent grads working on the east and west coast at leading investment banking and private equity firms, while our 4 keynote speakers are all changing the industry landscape in their own way through their leader...ship roles. Hey WWIL! Western Capital Markets is hosting its first Confidence Workshop this year on Tueday November 24th from 5:30PM-7:00PM. Western Capital Markets is the second-largest finance association at Western, and aims to teach students the fundamentals of finance, as well as provide networking opportunities within the capital markets industry. This event will include content related to increasing self-confidence, networking, preparing for interviews, and navigating difficult ...scenarios during the finance recruiting process. The guest speaker for the event will be Cisi Zhang, Vice-President of Corporate Banking at BMO Capital Markets. Cisi is a graduate of the Schulich School of Business and has previous experience as an analyst and associate in the Investment Banking division at BMO Capital Markets. She is passionate about moving the dial on gender equity in corporate Canada and will be sharing key experiences and lessons from her career. The Confidence Workshop will be open to everyone!
