Just so we’re clear: the Chairman of the Board, the President and CEO, and the Board of Directors, including the president of the WEA (your employee representative group); the people that the teal-bleeders and the kool-aid drinkers have been defending for the last few years; just tried to shut the company down (ie. put us all on the unemployment line) rather than try to negotiate fairly with the pilots. Do you really think these people have your best interests at heart? Do you really think change will just happen under that kind of leadership? The writing has been on the wall for years. It’s time you read between the lines.

Many flight attendants are asking me where I stand with CUPE. Rather than answer each individually, I’ll put my thoughts down here. I still believe that our group needs legal representation, but no, I have not signed a card with CUPE, and I don’t honestly foresee myself doing so. Just in case you hadn’t heard...

The only thing you don’t get back in this life is time. Time is valuable. Our job requires us to spend a lot of our time away from our family and friends. What is your time worth?
