Both can be done with respect for social distancing , we will provide some juice ,tea and coffee....... This will also allow us to talk about our Touchstones Exhibit commencing Late Oct - Feb. Good Day Tanshi Education - Metis Participation If you are interested in participating in the Education Programs for our Metis youth within SD 8 & 20 , please send me a note. The schools have Ab Ed programs which often involve Guests from the Aboriginal Community for Cultural teachings, History and Ceremony. I encourage anyone whom has a passion for education and culture to consider this opportunity , with supervised support within the AB ED Programs for the schools.... Good day - Tanshi I hope you exercised your right to vote. The MNBC needs our participation to ensure we have the ear of Government, numbers matter. Estimates are less than 3000 or potential 20K people have submitted votes 15% is NOT a strong showing . The efforts of a few are always challenged when not supported strongly for Your voice and rights. Thank you to those that did participate , your participation locally is also appreciated..........we need your voice to provide ... cultural connections moving forward. The leadership and skills can be provided by any member, not just the Board members....We will commence monthly gatherings for Cultural activities soon. with respect Don Courson President West Kootenay Metis Society

Feel free to come down, grab some materials and a quick how-to lesson, and take your piece to create at home!
