Some of you have been asking for the recipe for the soup so here it is! I have revised it a bit and added bell peppers to the roasting pan. Add 1 or add 3.. it’s up to you!

Yesterday was soup day at our house. With a little help (actually a lot of help) from my daughter Joelle we made Roasted Tomato Basil Soup! Our house was fragrant with fresh roasted tomatoes and basil for a better part of the day. What an accomplishment, to have homemade soup ready for those cold winter days, with a side of grilled cheese of course! The produce stand will be open until mid/late December, so even though the weather outside may turn cold and snowy we are still producing fresh veggies inside. Stop by and shop local.

It’s the perfect weather to pick up canner boxes and fill your pantry with salsa, soup or sauce etc. Next on my list is tomato basil soup! I love having homemade soup on a cold winters day. Stop by and load up... our doors will be open til the end of December!

What a day, week, month! August is flying by so quickly! Pretty soon kids are returning to school and summer camping trips will come to an end. But with a new season comes new routines and we are here to help! Our produce stand is FULL of fresh local veggies! Stop by our stand! Whether it’s that last camping trip, or day trips with the family, visits to friends house, or a simple staycation, you will be able to fill your fridge or cooler with healthy options! We would love for you to stop by and support local!

When life hands you zucchini you bake! When life hands you beets you pickle! My family loves baking and canned goods! And I love going to my pantry and freezer to find these special treats! SASKATOON Berries are now available at our stand thanks to Green Valley Acres. These berries are only available for a short 2-3 week season so get them now... Outdoor veggies coming soon. Slacks veggies have an outstanding crop and will start delivery next week. Carrots Beets Beans and spuds available soon. We will keep you posted. Hope everyone’s enjoying July!!

Happy Canada Day!! We live in this beautiful country called "CANADA" and today we have the opportunity to celebrate Canada's birthday!! Just because festivities for this day may have been altered you can still enjoy a picnic or dinner on the deck or park.. and our doors are OPEN!! We can help you with a quick veggies options. Our doors will be open all day, so stop on by.

A classic salad! The Greek salad is simple and the different varieties to suit your flavour are endless. I’m a traditionalist and the basic tomato, cucumber and coloured pepper is a staple for me. For variety I will add a diced avocado for the creamy texture. For the dressing I like a simple oil and vinegar combination and the lovely people @The Hat’s Olive Tap will assist you! We would love for you to stop by our produce stand and pick up your veggies and be creative with your salad options! We are open 7 days a week.

Welcome SPRING!! The sun is out and we are so thankful. The produce stand is full with amazing colour and tasty veggies. Your options are limitless as to what you can create! Happy Mother’s Day! I hope all you Moms, grammas, step moms, moms to be are being pampered and spoiled today! My family knows I love a good salad so this was made especially for me.
