On December 4th, 2020 the GTHL Boad of Directors announced that it will permit teams and organizations to return to on and off ice activities once the region in which each team/organization operates enters the Ontario Government's Orange "Restrict" level. Your West Mall Lightning Board of Directors will continue to monitor the situation and work towards getting everyone back on the ice in the safest and quickest way possible. Starting on September 14th 20th, Tim Hortons Restaurants will be launching their annual Smile Cookie program. 100% of proceeds from Smile Cookies sold will be donated to local charities. In Toronto they will be supporting Children’s Breakfast Clubs. In 2019, the program raised over $200,000 for the organization.
