The Vancouver Island Construction Association, along with the generous support of Island construction companies, are running their annual Holiday Toy Drive and are collecting new, unwrapped toys or cash donations, from now until December 9th. Donations can be dropped off at VICA Nanaimo (5-1850 Northfield Road) from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday, until the end of day on December 9th. Your donations will be distributed to families and kids across Vancouver Island and will help to brighten the holidays of those who need a helping hand this holiday season.

Join us this #GivingTuesday and help make a lasting impact on people in our community by donating to the Loaves & Fishes Food Bank. The Westmark team has kicked it off by donating $1,000, and we challenge our business partners to join in and celebrate Giving Tuesday alongside us. Loaves & Fishes Community Food Bank is always in need of financial donations, and for every $1 in cash donations that Loaves and Fishes receives, they can provide clients with $5.98 worth of healthy, nutritious food! Today, on November 11, we pause in a moment of silence to honour and show our respect to our Canadian heroes, both past and present.
