Please join us in congratulating our General Manager and 36 year long employee of Marshall’s Ambulance Care/WestMed Paramedics, in her retirement. Maryanne has been a vital influence in not only our company, but Emergency Medical Services in Saskatchewan. Her passion for the industry is second to none and she will be surely missed on a day to day basis in our office, as well as the annual PSCS conventions & meetings. Enjoy your retirement Maryanne, it is very well deserved. P.S. today was actually her first official ‘retired day’, and she still showed up in the office for unfinished work!

May 24-30 marks National EMS Week. We’d like to take the time to acknowledge our staff for their commitment and dedication to providing the health and safety to our communities every day. Annually Marshall’s Ambulance Care/WestMed Paramedics held a community BBQ with donations going to local groups. With current restrictions we will regretfully be keeping our celebrations in house.

We can’t thank Kala Voeltz for organizing this amazing act, and delivering to our staff. We were one of the many fortunate businesses who received their thoughtful and very much appreciated gesture. Also thank you to Annette Sigstad (Sigstad’s Prairie Catering), Andy & Patty Thiell (Danish Home Bakery), and Darcy Cookman-Bissonnette, you all ROCK!

WestMed Paramedics & The Saskatchewan Health Authority is committed to keeping all healthcare staff and patients safe during the pandemic. The new requirements for PPE and screening patients prior to donning, has caused confusion and frustration for both the patient/family and our EMS providers.
