Friends and Members of Westminster, We have been carefully monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Saskatchewan and Regina in cooperation with United Church regional officials and other churches in the city. The Emergency Response Group met on Sunday, and Council held an email-based vote this week. Regretfully, we are closing Westminster to in-person worship until such time as the rate of COVID-19 transmission is reduced in Regina and Saskatchewan. This is not an easy decision to make, especially going into the Advent Season but we must make decisions that are in the best interests of those who are most vulnerable. As a council, we promise to be open with you about the decisions to come and to keep you informed. Matthew Woodall, chairperson of Council
