Friends and fans braved the cold and ice to gather at Century House on Sunday the 11th to enjoy refreshments and hear stories from Evelyn’s new book. Guest readers were Rosemary Simituk and Delora Harper, who expressed delight at the women’s point-of-view in Evelyn’s oral history books: Most history is written by men and seldom tell of the lives of everyday people, especially not women and children. A good time was had by all!
