Thanks to the Mid West Toronto Ontario Health Team and other amazing community partners, 44 of our personal support workers, who work directly with vulnerable seniors, plus 5 more people who work in our drop-ins with the homeless community, got #vaccinated yesterday. We're so grateful! #frontineworkers #frontlineheroes #wearevaccinated #covid19 #wereallinthistogether

https://www.pcfb.ca/12-facts-of-the-food-bank In March, the Parkdale Community Food Bank team stepped up and created the first & only 100% free & 100% choice ba...sed grocery delivery program in Toronto. Our delivery program supports individuals within the downtown-west who cannot afford traditional grocery delivery and who are currently self isolating due to COVID-19 or who face other barriers which inhibit their ability to attend an in person food bank service. We currently deliver to over 150 families per week through the program and are working with other community organizations including Spadina Fort York Community Cares, Bike Brigade, West Neighbourhood House Scadding Court and Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre to expand it! Donate $100 to sponsor a family for a 2 week isolation period.
Our innovative "knock knock" project, part of the Roncesvalles Neighbourhood Care Team, was profiled in @futureofgood. Read about this #socialinnovation here: https://futureofgood.co/west-neighbourhood-house/
