Congratulations to Dr. Peter Holowka and his wife, who were wed over Winter Break. Typical of an educational technology director, he used our WPGA robot (created pre-Covid to help a student recovering at home with an injury) to have his best man in London, England "attend" the ceremony. (And yes, that's Mr. Bohnen in attendance too!)

Thanks to all our alumni who attended last night's Alumni Holiday Social on Zoom and Kumospace. We know many of you are "zoomed out" (!) at this point in the year but we truly appreciate that you took the time to attend and play some competitive WPGA and holiday trivia! Events like these really do help us stay connected.

2JN wrote thank-you letters to the doctors and nurses at St. Paul's Hospital, who not only responded with sincere thanks but also sent pictures! Thank you to Dr. Barry Kassen, Dr. Anita Palepu and Dr. Alex Chan, all Internal Medicine Specialists at St. Paul's, for taking the time to do this. We appreciate you and all our health care workers!

We were fortunate to participate, along with five other schools across Canada, in a virtual presentation honouring our veterans for Remembrance Day. WPGA's student tribute starts at 22:33, but we encourage you to watch the entire video, which includes messages from the Right Hon. Julie Payette and the Hon. This year the Shaping Lives Fund will support our music department, among other departments, purchasing more instruments and more production equipment to help nurture students' growth and development in music. Harold and Kaylin, grade 6, share why they love learning the cello in their strings classes.
