Covid-19 Update: In accordance with the recent announcement by BC Public Health we have some immediate changes to our current services: - Masks are required for all persons over the age of 2 in our public spaces (not including weight room) - At this time high risk group fitness activities including spin, and bootcamps are cancelled - All other lower intensity group fitness indoor classes have been cancelled for Nov 19th and 20th and will resume on Nov 21st. ... - The weight room will remain open for reservations. - Spectators are not permitted in sporting event or practices. - No outdoor or indoor social bookings/rentals We will update our guidelines as information changes. There are some changes underway here at West Shore Parks & Recreation. Work has began @ WSPR to replace the JDF Arena floor and to build new childcare spaces including Daycare, Preschool and Afterschool Care. Exciting things to come!

Create with clay in a safe and fun environment. Join Heather in the Pottery Studio for Pottery for Home Learners (5-12 years) starting on October 30, 2020 from 12:00-1:00 PM. Hand building, modeling and construction are introduced during this creative course. Students will also experience the challenge of throwing on the potter’s wheel. All finished pieces will be fired to complete the program. We are excited to announce that Aspiring Artists Birthday Parties have returned to our art studio at Centennial Centre! Get creative and inspired with your friends at our unique art birthday parties led by our experienced art instructor, Heather! We have many themes to choose from including Splatter Paint, Dragons, Mermaids, Wizards and Wands, Unicorns, Pocket Monsters and more! *Art Parties are for children 5 years and older and are offered on Saturdays from 2-3 PM and 4-5 P...M. *Cost: $190 for up to 8 children (including the birthday child); includes 1 hour of art instruction and all art materials. *For availability and to book, please email [email protected] **Please note that due to COVID-19 we cannot offer party room time for birthdays.
