Today at West Shore we observed Remembrance Day and honoured those who fought for our country and our freedom and those who continue to serve. A special thank you to the 1st Port Perry Beavers for making each veteran a placemat that they treasure and a video that was shared and loved by the entire building. Another thank you to Mrs. Gordon’s grade 4/5 class at RH Cornish Public School for writing personal postcards to our veterans.
Happy National Vanilla Cupcake Day! To celebrate we went door to door with cupcakes and sprinkles to decorate them. Looks like everyone enjoyed this super sweet day! Did you know... the world record for the most cupcakes eaten in 30 seconds is 29!
Today we decided to treat our residents to a little surprise in the form of a Tim Hortons drive-through! Coffee, tea and Timbits just like the real thing, look at all these satisfied customers! And very big thank you to the Reach St. and Old Simcoe Rd. Tim Hortons here in Port Perry for lending us a classic Tim's uniforms to bring that extra special touch!
