HOW TO SUPPORT: In the past, the community businesses have generously donated prizes for all the kids and they have been so appreciated. This year, we are hopin...g to be able to give each participant a teeshirt with our fun logo on it in leu of prizes! If you are interested in helping us make this happen for the 100-120 kids that show up every year (from ages 1 -18) the best way to contribute would be a cash donation of up to $20 (or whatever your business can do!) Please feel free to email with any questions at all. Cash or cheques can be picked up or email transfer to [email protected] is great too! Thanks and see you at the beach!

EXPRESSION SESSION Every participant in the expression session is a winner and gets a medal. A great introduction for kids to get them familiar with the "heat..." format, those who are just starting out, or those who just want to surf with friends in a non-competitive environment! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for the day of the contest. Volunteer as much or as little time as you can. We need help with set up, tear down, judging, sign in, etc. Also, ...we would like a parent/adult in the water with each heat. WESTSIDE SURF SCHOOL is hiring! SURF INSTRUCTORS: Must be bronze cross and first aid certified. A love of the ocean and passion for teaching others is required. Must hold valid drivers licence, and be committed to work full time during the summer months. Must have accommodation, as we do not have staff accoms. Sorry!...
