MARRIAGE COURSE A quick reminder that the Alpha Marriage Course starts this week! We know that marriage can be tough and this year has added a lot of stress for so many of us. So... what are we supposed to say when we pray? This past Sunday we talked about how our prayers need to be formed by scripture, specifically the Psalms - the prayer book of the Bible! Pastor Dave challenged us to start praying through the Psalms daily, starting with Psalm 1. As you start, here are some tips for praying the Psalms:... 1 Learn to pray honestly. 2 Pray in solidarity with victims of injustice. 3 Read the psalm allegorically. 4 Pray with engagement and emotion.
