To all our customers, book lovers, friends and their families, we wish you all a safe and happy Christmas. We hope you all got the books you wanted so as Christmas can be relaxing and cosy. We will still be doing curbside sales after Christmas, so email or phone your requests to us and we will get back to you as soon as we can!

What is your favourite music-related book you've ever read? Looking for a new read or a last-minute gift for someone? We have curbside pickup available (11 a.m. - 4 p.m. today and 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. tomorrow)! Give us a call or send us an email!

Still not bought your Christmas books for friends and Family? We are still selling curbside so email your request(s) or phone us. We will let you know availability and price and arrange a pick-up. If we don't have the book you want, let us suggest an alternative from our vast stock. Pick-up is available between 11am and 4pm Tues, wednesday and between 11am - 3pm on Thursday.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all the people arriving at the store with masks and sanitizing, it is really appreciated! We are taking books in, however, all incoming books are now quarantined for at least 24 hours and then cleaned before going on the shelves. Safety is a priority for you and us! We are managing well with all the limitations which we have had to put in place. Having no more than 3 customers in the store at any one time is manageable and maintains social distancing very well. For those arriving without masks, we are happy to look for your request in store and sell to you curbside. Keep well, keep safe!

Happy Monday everyone! What have you all been reading since the weather's been nicer?

I'd like to reiterate the policy for the store: No mask.....No entry!! So far today at least 5 people have turned up without a mask expecting to be let into the store. I'm sorry but is my store and my rules! I have been told I should be supplying masks like Fortino's..........well the answer to that is they are part of a big conglomerate and have never closed throughout this crisis losing no revenue, whereas as a small independent we had to close, we have lost revenue and and the cost of supplying customers with a mask is not feasible. Masks are discretionary, yes it is your choice but it is my choice to ask you to wear one in my store. Please do not be offended when we refuse entry for health reasons!

We are open!!! For now we are having restricted opening times Tues-Sat 11am-4pm , Customers are asked to wear masks and observe social distancing and if necessary we will restrict the number of customers in the store at any one time. So please be patient if you have to wait a short time. We ask that customers do not spend too long browsing and allow others to be able to get time in the store too. Thank you to all of you who supported us during this lock down, we were able to get orders out and keep Hamilton reading!! Your support is really appreciated!

It's supposed to be rainy and cloudy all day today ... the perfect opportunity to read a good horror or mystery novel!

Perhaps you would like to learn another language while you have spare time.......we have a good selection of foreign language books and dictionaries to help you.

How about a few humour books to make everyone smile? We have quite a few, including some comic annuals like Beano and Dandy and Farside and For Better or Worse.......all good for a laugh!
