Do you see Kevin Durant going to New York? Honestly I’d say that this isn’t a bad destination as the team has quite a bit of cap space in the offseason. This would ensure that they could hold down KD plus another star or two! Imagine Kyrie making a move down to the Big Apple with KD, it would be insane! Aside from the cap space New York is amongst the top tier of popularity which can help with the branding of a superstar. On top of that it’s a beautiful city with so much to d...o whether it’s shopping, investing in a business situation, plus another spot to find other celebrities! With the pro’s of playing in New York do you see KD and Kyrie meeting up in the Apple? If so do you see the Knicks making a serious splash this summer to acquire a complimentary shooter or big man to work with them? Let me know! #NYC #KD #kyrie #nba #espn #thescore See more

With quite a few first round playoff matchups coming to an end one had certainly caught my eyes. It’s the battle of the dynamic duo’s with CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard against Paul George plus Russell Westbrook! Going into the matchup I originally thought the Trailblazers would lose some momentum as they lost Nurkic for the playoffs! However that is not the case as they are ahead 3-1 and they have locked OKC down! Westbrook has lost his shooting touch and hasn’t found a way... to be effective enough to bring home the W’s. On the other side of the spectrum you have PG who is playing quite well but hasn’t shot at the level he should. He is currently averaging 26.8/3.8/8.5 while shooting 37%/30.8%/85.4%. The stats aren’t bad, it’s just that his shooting has been slightly off. On top of that you have Russ who is averaging 21.3/9.8/8.4 while shooting 36.3%/30.4%/87%. Now with that being said, the actual stat lines aren’t bad. It’s mostly that their shooting has been off and that the defence has been ugly. OKC hasn’t come up with an efficient defensive scheme to shut down CJ and Dame. The main issue is that Portland is using a lot of screens to create openings in the lane or 3 point land, which is causing OKC to get confused matchup wise. Especially from watching the games you’ll see the Thunder have struggled with switching at the appropriate times. When failing at that it gives the Trailblazers dynamic duo way too much space to work with! Do you see OKC stepping up to possibly come back in this series? Or do you feel that Portland has left there mark on the first round and is ready for the next? Let me know! #nba #okc #portland #thunder #trailblazers #epsn #thescore See more

The Toronto Raptors have been my ideal choice to come out of the Eastern Conference this year! Even with a loss from the first game, I’ll still hold my position on how I feel about the team. As I expected with game two the Raps intensity increased causing the team to work in unison. From 0 points in game one, Lowry decided to strap up and drop 22 points on Orlando’s head in game two! Aside from Lowry picking it up, his right hand man Kawhi Leonard had a monster game with 37/4.../4 while shooting 15/22 from the field! One last aspect of the roster that I’m very happy about is the big man trio of Marc Gasol, Pascal Siakam and Serge Ibaka! They have been quite efficient and has given the coaching staff many options with their line ups! Spicy P has taken his regular season success into the playoffs and hasn’t let off! Even with Leonard and Lowry having great games Siakam found a way to drop 19/10 while shooting 8/16! With the solid play on offence and defence from the guards/bigs has shown the roster is deadly! A lot of people were throwing shade at the Raps for losing game one, however I don’t see them looking back with this series. They have the talent and right play style to destroy the magic by the end of game 5! Do you see the Orlando Magic coming up with another win in this series? And how far do you expect the Raptors to make it in the playoffs? I’m thinking the NBA finals baby! #torontoraptors #raptorsnation #kawhileonard #nba #kylelowry #espn #thescore See more

As of right now every playoff series has gone through a game and there has been quite a few surprises! For instance, the Brooklyn Nets upset the 76ers on there home court with 111-102 win! Brooklyn’s interior defence was on point which caused the 76ers to shoot more jumpers! Embiid did score 22 points but was held to 5/15 from the field, and his partner Ben Simmons scored 9 points going 4/9 from the field! Earlier in the season I predicted the Nets would make the playoffs and... would land around the 6-7 seed, and to me that’s a W already. But now they are matched up with Philadelphia on the first round and it’s going to be a tough match up. With key assets like Ben Simmons, Jimmy Butler, Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris the team will be fighting to make the Finals! Hopefully the Nets can ride the momentum from game one and take game two as well! If Jarrett Allen can hold down the lane by stopping Ben and Joel’s interior game they have a high chance of winning! And as of right now I’m trusting that the trio of Caris LaVert (23 points, 8/18 in 23 minutes),Deangelo Russell (26/3/4, shooting 10/25), and Spencer Dinwiddie (18/3/1, shooting 6/14) can work collectively to keep the scoring consistent at a high shooting percentage! I’d also like to say that Deangelo is playing like a star and is starting to get the respect too! I can’t wait for a close game between the two teams so that D-Lo can shock some crowds with daggers! Do you see the Nets having a chance to win this series? Or will we the 76ers pull up to game 2 with all the guns blazing? #nbaplayoffs #nba #brooklynnets #dloading See more

As a fan of the NBA for quite a while it was tough to see Magic Johnson step down as the president of basketball operations. I believe the Lakers are one of the toughest organizations to manage because of location and popularity. To make things even tougher the pressure went up once he was able to bring in LeBron James. After bringing in the best ball player in the world, a lot of people expected the roster to at least make the playoffs and climb the ranks. However that wasn’...t the case as the organization didn’t add complimentary pieces, they added similar talent to what they had and it caused dysfunction! On top of that even when the team seemed to settle into a low playoff seed, they couldn’t go further because of LeBron and the supporting cast going down with injuries. One of the biggest factors in this situation is that the young core with Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball rarely got to play with LeBron at the same time. So in my opinion this season should be a right off as the team wasn’t built with enough shooters and veteran leadership other than James! Do you think Magic should have resigned or should he have dug his heels in and made change for the organization? Or do you feel there are some behind the scene factors with the Buss family? If the Lakers didn’t bring in Rondo and ended up signing a shooter or two, would that ensure they could make the playoffs? #nba #lakers #magicjohnson #playoffs See more
