Thank you so much to everyone showing their love of dogs by helping us find the Great Pyrenees. Unfortunately now she is just running scared because there is so many people trying to capture her . I know everyone really wants to bring her in out of the cold, but running her in this cold fridgid weather is not good . She does have a shelter hole and feed stations set out . She did great at our shelter with all of the staff so we are hoping she will eventually not be so scare...d and come to us. Please call when you see her, but please try not to chase her as she is very shy and timid . I would hate to see her run out of the ditch onto the highway infront of traffic again out of fear . Again i appreciate all of your help ! Calls are best, she has a warm sleep spot that she has used for the last 4 to 5 weeks so she knows how to keep herself safe . Thank you ! See more

Meet Mazikeen! She is a young tabby who was found as a stray and never claimed and had no identification on her. She is extremely playful and could play for hours! If you are looking for a higher energy cat, this is the girl for you! Phone down to the shelter to make an appointment to meet her.

Meet BRUNI He is around 7-8 months old. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He LOVES his attention and loves kids! If you would like to meet Bruni you can call down to the shelter at 1-306-848-7387 to book an appointment. Applications can also be filled out online.

Meet SALEM He is around 5-6 years old. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is a little bit of a chunky monkey but still adorable! If you would like to meet Salem you can call down to the shelter at 1-306-848-7387 to book an appointment. Applications can also be filled out online.

We are seeking board members for the 2021 year starting in January. Requirements are being a paid member of the Weyburn Humane Society. Memberships are $15. Board member to be in attendance of our monthly board meeting and contribute some time towards assisting in our fundraising efforts. Please email [email protected] with any further questions.

Due to new public health rules of mandatory masks in public areas, we will no longer be able to do Santa pictures as we did last time, HOWEVER, we MAY have an opportunity to do pictures in a different way. You would send in a picture of your kids/animals and get a picture back of Santa holding a picture of your picture. Your picture would have to be good quality with good lighting. It would be $10 donation. Please comment below if you would be interested in something like this. If there is enough interest, we will set it up.
