Please take a look at this announcement. When you call 911, please be prepared to have a mask placed on you when we arrive. We are working closely with Saskatchewan Health Authority and our ambulance services to make sure we are both safe during our visit!

Highway 312 from Waldheim to hwy 12 is drifted across the south bound lane in places. It is worst near the chicken barns, as usual. The drifts are deep and ver...y solid. They can make your vehicle lose control if you hit them too fast. Please be careful. There has been one vehicle roll over in the ditch near the chicken barns already this morning. See more

With so much information coming at a person about COVID-19, sometimes it is difficult to tell fact from fiction. Follow these tips to tackle the daily misinform...ation tsunami: 1. Know the source even if your friends or family sent you the information, you should still find the original source before sharing. 2. Read beyond the headline headlines can be misleading. 3. Research the author are they real? Credible? 4. Review the facts. 5. Check the date is the information being shared up to date? 6. Ask questions talk to your healthcare provider if you have health questions. 7. Use your judgement. #FactNotFear

2020 was definitely a different year than any other. Like most emergency services, our call volume was down significantly in the spring due to the COVID-19 lock down. We took advantage of the extra time to get in some extra online theory training to keep our skills ready for anything that might come along. We would like to thank all of our volunteers for staying strong and brave through this last year. We continued to train for our new challenges that go with the pandemic ...and responded every time without hesitation, all the while knowing that every call could expose them to something deadly. Here are the calls we attended through 2020: 4- Alarms ringing 4- Carbon Monoxide calls 6- Motor vehicle Accidents 4- Structure fires 2- Wildland Fires 30-Medical First Responder calls Thank you everyone for your support and have a safe 2021.

With one of our volunteers being a full time Paramedic with Stars it feels like they are part of our extended family. We would like to send our condolences out to Duke's family, friends and crew members at Stars.
