Marathon eating at the US nationals! It's a miracle we survived.

What a way to end the summer! We got off 13 races at the US National 49er Champs this weekend in Oyster Bay New York! The team grew and learnt a lot from lining up with all these very talented, and fast American teams. A big thanks to Trev and 49er.ca for providing the support boat and Rachel for all the great photos! If anyones looking for any, give her a shout she's probably got some good ones of you. Now that we're done racing for the summer, we've got a little big of maintenance to do on the boat, and a lot of hours to get in back on the Best Coast. After our racing this summer we're feeling charged to get in the boat and really hammer out some kinks. See you soon Vancouver!

Yea, the US Nationals are pretty great this year. 6 races in fresh breeze yesterday. Forecast is good again for today!

Yesterday wrapped up Cork OCR 2014. It was light air theatre race day, and we sailed beautifully. A solid 3, 2, 2 to finish the event. We ended up in 4th. Now off to the US nationals in Oyster bay!

If only all our days of sailing were as smooth as today! We got four races off in a light Kingston thermal. Sitting in 5th right now, 2 points away from 4th. Feeling really good going into the last day of fleet 49er racing.
