Passionné de blues depuis son jeune âge, Mark LeClerc a fondé ce groupe d'amis proches, rencontré lors de ses études en musique au Cégep St-Laurent ainsi qu'à l'Université de Montréal. Chanteur et compositeur du groupe, c'est à lui que revient l'idée d'une section de saxophones mise de l'avant par des arrangements modernes. Suite au lancement de son premier album Injected au printemps 2016, Fuel Junkie a participé au concours Québec à Memphis de la Société Blues de Montréal et s'est illustré notamment au Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, au Festival International du Blues de Tremblant ainsi qu'au Festival de Blues de Victoriaville. ------------------------------ Since its formation in 2014, Fuel Junkie has revealed itself as one of the most promising upcoming artists on the Montréal blues scene. Passionate about the blues at a very young age, Mark LeClerc founded the group with close friends met during his music studies at Cégep St-Laurent and Université de Montréal. Singer and composer of the band, he came up with the idea of a saxophone section brought to the spotlight by modern arrangements. Following the launch of their first album Injected in spring 2016, Fuel Junkie participated in the Montréal Blues Society's Québec to Memphis competition and performed at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, Festival International du Blues de Tremblant and Festival de Blues de Victoriaville.
