When I Grow Young 20.12.2020

we are asking YOU to help us spread some virtual cheer to our grandbuddies! make a message of care (photo, card, letter, drawing), take a picture or scan it and send it to us. We will pass them along to seniors living in residential care to remind them our community us thinking of them!

Vancouver Foundation's Neighbourhood Small Grants / Greenest City Grants have released a new program to fund small-scale projects to tackle social isolation, build community strength resilience, and foster community creativity and well-being during the pandemic. Don't forget to reach out to your grandparents, an elderly neighbour and other seniors in your life to check in. Many seniors already experience social isolation and loneliness that is exacerbated with the current isolation recommendations.
