Today marks the beginning of Heart Month: a time to bring awareness to and prevent heart disease. We are kicking off the month with Cheryl Bertoia's story. She ...had none of the classic risk factors but still had a heart attack. Now, Cheryl is a patient at the Centre universitaire de santé McGill - McGill University Health Centre Women’s Healthy Heart Initiative and her health is back on track. The Women's Healthy Heart Initiative is the first and the only nurse-led disease prevention clinic in Canada.
